Physical Services
Physical services are those which require my presence for
the job to be completed. Many of these services will
fall along the
traditional guarding protocols. Some examples of Physical Services are listed
below.
Surveillance -
Simple and effective. In essence, surveillance security jobs include some form of
prevention, observation,
or detection of intrusion, entry, vandalism, abuse, fire, trespass, or unauthorized activity. Surveillance can either
be overt or
undercover. It can be used for residential as well as commercial applications to
accomplish a wide
range of goals.

Commercial - Business surveillance is traditionally used to prevent loss.
For
example: a manufact-
uring facility where goods are produced for distribution is experiencing
product loss. Security is asked
to find out why, who, and what is perpetrating pilferage and/or theft on
the company. Some
businesses
may wish to use the undercover
option, including the use of cameras, to help discover
where losses
are
originating from.

Residential - For most home surveillance, many people like to have someone check on
their
home on a
regular basis if they are going to be away for an extended period of
time. This accomplishes many things.
It keeps activity around your home, mail and
papers are not piling up outside, lights and plumbing will be
checked to ensure proper
functioning, doors, windows and the perimeter will be checked for intrusion, etc...
The more
busy a house looks, the less of a target it is. |
Computer Security -
Data loss prevention is extremely important to many businesses. I can help develop a
proper
strategy to safeguard your business or personal data. Having a layered system
of storage methods is vital to
accomplishing this task. Other computer services
include virus detection and removal, spy ware detection and removal
, LAN security, VPN
security, and internet / firewall security. In some cases, hard drive
investigation techniques can
be used to locate lost or damaged data as well. Along with computer
security, you must put in place proper procedures
and policies to prevent misuse, abuse, and neglect.
Special Event
Security - This
type of security includes the prevention or misappropriation
of money or goods.
More broadly it would include anything else that doesn't really fit into a
category. I have assisted people in a
collection service manner all the way up to attending seminars on terrorism
and then teaching & consulting with
clients how to be
aware of their surroundings to reduce their threat level.
Non
Undercover Residential Surveillance - This type of service includes much
of what I listed above in the
"Residential Surveillance" section. This is the type of security
that I do
the most. I am
aware of how police
officers conduct their checks for people on vacation.
They do exactly what they say they are going to do,
just drive by. When I do security on a residence, I actually visit
your residence. I will check your windows,
doors, basement, roof, yard, mailbox, driveway, lights on timers, kitchen,
etc... every day. I don't just
"drive by" and assume everything on the inside or your home is in good
order. I will check your home
to ensure that your property is secure.
